How can customers verify a product is genuine using a security label?

Customers can verify authenticity using visible security features such as a proprietary hologram or by scanning a unique QR code that connects the individual product to an authentication system. The exact verification process depends on the security architecture selected by the brand.

A serialised system gives each unit a unique identity rather than printing the same code on every pack. When connected to a verification platform, the code can confirm whether the identifier is valid and can potentially flag duplicate or suspicious scans.

For stronger protection, digital verification can be combined with physical features such as holograms, tamper-evident materials, or covert inks. This makes authentication dependent on more than a single easily copied visual element.
